Day 1: Tbilisi (arrival)

Arrival in Tbilisi international airport. Meet our tour guide and transfer to Tbilisi hotel. Check in and overnight.

Day 2: Tbilisi city tour ( Breakfast ) 

Tours starts time at 10:00 am at the hotel lobby. Starting the route with Tbilisi old-town:, visit Narikala Fortress, walking at the Sulphur baths district and via Shardeni Street visit the Treasury of Art Museum, Afterward via Freedom square we take a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue, the main street in Tbilisi, through the parliament building. With ropeway visit Funicular and amusement park located on the top of the Mtatsminda Mountain. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3:Tbilisi – Mtskheta ( Breakfast ) 

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mtatsminda amusement park.Lift there by cable way. Then drive to Mtskheta(UNESCOHeritageSite),theancientcapitalofGeorgia-earlykingdomofIberia.Inhabited since before 1000 BC it was religious centre of the country. Visit Jvari Church – 6th century monastery. ItwasbuiltonahilloverlookingtheconfluenceofthetworiversMtkvariandAragvi. Then have time for shopping. Transfer and overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Kazbegi /Gudauri – Tbilisi ( Breakfast ) 

Today we drive to Kazbegi, mountain region of the country. On the way, we pass Ananuri Castle and Jinvali water reservoir of amazing beauty. Stop and see different local hand made things (thick felt, embroidery, iconographic painting). A stunning drive from Gudauri along the Tergi River will bring us to Stepantsminda – the main town in the region. Today we will visit Kazbegi surroundings. From centre, we drive by 4×4 cars through beautiful valleys and woodlands to visit Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. You may observe one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Then drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5:Tbilisi – Uplistsikhe – Tbilisi ( Breakfast ) 

After breakfast, drive Uplistsikhe, “the lord’s fortress”, which is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. Built on a high rocky left bank of Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the 2nd ML BC to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures. In the evening, drive to Tbilisi.

Day 6:Tbilisi departure ( Breakfast ) 

Transfer to Tbilisi airport to board your flight back home .
