Description: With the highlight of this trip being the Love River Cruise, there is a whole lot more that you are going to see. From the Sun Moon Lake, to the Bubble Tea experience, there is a lot in store for you.

Day 1: Arrive Taipei
Arrival at Taoyuan International Airport. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Taipei – Kaohsiung
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station to board your train to Kaohsiung. On arrival at Kaohsiung, visit E-Da World, which is a new 90-hectare shopping and entertainment district in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Continue your tour to British Consulate. The consulate was built in 1865 with more than a hundred years of history. It is now the most antique western building preserved in Taiwan, which is listed as the second-class historic spot. It emphasizes on the stylish regular pattern and its hollow pattern railings were built with excellent bricks. Harmonious sense of beauty is shown at every turn.

End your tour on Love River Cruise. The Love River is like an art gallery that reflects the history of the city`s development. The Museum of History, the Film Archive, and the Music Center have turned the Love River into a thriving hub of culture filled with street and musical performances. Love Boats cruise along the river amidst the rich aroma wafting from outdoor cafes, giving the culture of the river a romantic touch and providing wonderful experience for visitors. Later check into you hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Kaohsiung – Taichung
After breakfast. You will be transferred to the train station to board your train to Taichung. On arrival at Taichung, proceed for the city tour of Taichung; your tour includes:

Stock 20 Art Gallery: Stock 20 is an artists’ venue located right next to the Taichung Train Station. The vast warehouses were originally constructed in 1917 but later fell into disuse. In the late 90s, due to their high ceilings and unique architectural features, the warehouses were deemed perfect to be converted into art performance, presentation and creation spaces. Stock 20 has a large gallery with rotating exhibitions.
Art Museum Eco Park Way. The museum also holds special exhibitions of various aspects of indigenous culture.

End your tour with Bubble Tea Experience. Bubble tea, also known as pearl (milk) tea or boba (milk) tea, is a Taiwanese tea drink that originated from tea shops in Taichung. Bubble tea contains small chewy tapioca balls commonly called “pearls”.

Later check into your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Taichung
Breakfast at hotel. Today, proceed for a full day tour to Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake: This Lake is the most famous lake attraction in Taiwan. With over 100 square kilometers, the lake got its name because the northern part of it has the shape of the sun and the southern part of it has the shape of crescent moon (those two parts are separated by Guang-hua Island). Then proceed from Sun Moon Lake to Farmosan Aboriginal Culture Village through cable car.

Formosa Aboriginal Culture Village has five theme parks. Amusement facilities in these five theme parks include joy ride, cultural square, artistic fountain, museums, 3-D theater, aboriginal dance show, etc. Later return to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Taichung – Taipei
After breakfast, transfer to train station to board your train to Taipei. Arrive at Taipei and proceed for a city tour of Taipei. Your tour includes:
Chang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, in downtown Taipei to pay homage to the late President Chiang Kai-Shek. Travel to Martyrs` Shrine to see an excellent example of classical Ming Dynasty architecture dedicated to the fallen war heroes of the country and see the hourly changing of the guard ceremony.

Ximending – Located in west Taipei, Ximending is one of the most popular tourist spots among both local and international travelers, featuring a wide selection of fashionable clothing and accessories.

The Red House is a western-style red-brick octagonal architecture that was established in 1908. It is the first public market in Taiwan, which is now the most well-preserved tier-three historical site of Taiwan. Later check into your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Taipei
After breakfast, proceed to visit Jiufen Old Street, where the houses are built at the side of the hills and from the houses, you are able to see the Pacific Ocean coastline. Walk around the cool old street and relive scenes of the past Taipei.

Later proceed to visit the National Palace Museum, which is the world’s largest and most valuable collection of Chinese art treasures for about 5000 years of history. Continue your tour to Taipei 101 Shopping Area.

Taipei 101 is the tallest building in the world, with a mass of shops on the lower floors, incorporating many top brands under such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, etc. Then proceed to Taipei 101 Observatory for great views of entire Taipei City, an indoor viewing area is accessible on the eighty-ninth floor. Overnight at the hotel.

End your tour in Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), a world-class building for holding important conferences. The center not only is a landmark of Taipei, but also has significant contributions to the world. Later you will be transferred to airport to board your flight back home or onward destination.
