Description: Wildlife lovers will have reached their paradise here – from Lake Manyara, to Serengeti to Ngorongoro to Tarangire, you will have so much to see and appreciate that you might consider taking the tour all over again.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara (2h): Arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport early morning. You will be met by our team outside the customs hall. Once briefed, you will be introduced to your driver guide and will drive west towards Lake Manyara National Park.

Check-in at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, perched right on the edge of the Rift Valley escarpments with its fabulous views of the lake and beyond. You will have lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti (04h30): Breakfast and depart for the Serengeti National Park. Cross the Ngorongoro massif. Arrive at the Serengeti Sopa lodge, check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti: A full day’s game drive in Serengeti with picnic lunches. The morning may be spent along the river searching for leopards that hide in branches of trees with the afternoon out on plains amongst the vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. Explore some of the rocky kopjes where lions or cheetahs may be resting in the shade or preparing for the evening hunt. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro (3h): Following breakfast we will exit the park with a game viewing session en route to Ngorongoro. A stop for picnic lunch at Olduvai Gorge will be there where you will also visit the Museum. Here fossils of some of man’s earliest ancestors have been found giving rise to the theory that East Africa may have been the “Cradle of Mankind”. You will arrive at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, overlooking the crater. Check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro: After breakfast we descend into the crater for a 6-hour excursion of game-viewing. Ngorongoro is one of the finest game viewing areas in Africa and dubbed by some as the 8th wonder of the world. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The crater (610 meters deep and 260 km squared) is a microcosm of East African scenery and game. Scenic grandeur and stunning views are the hallmark of this wonder of the world. Picnic lunch in the crater. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Tarangire (3h): After a leisurely breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park. Check-in and lunch at the lodge. The park is home to thousands of elephants, and in the dry season, the game congregates along the river having migrated from Masai Mara.

It is symbolized by the Baobab tree, growing in open acacia woodland. Tarangire is an ornithologists’ paradise, rich in birds of prey and an incredible diversity of avifauna. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Tarangire – Arusha: Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. A leisurely drive back to Arusha. Lunch and afternoon transfer to the Kilimanjaro Airport for your return flight.
